This session’s theme, “Soft Skills to navigate workplace dynamics”, will focus specifically on applying humanitarian negotiation soft skills in complex work situations. It will be led by Maude Pittet Nazareno and Marly Diallo from the Center of Competence on Humanitarian Negotiation (CCHN). As mentoring and soft skills specialists, they will guide the participants through an immersive session with breakout groups, simulation exercises and strong knowledge on interpersonal skills in humanitarian negotiation.

This EmpoweRED session was dedicated to delving into the vital topics of mental health, burnout, and holistic healing. In this dynamic discussion, we will uncover the disproportionate impact these issues have on women globally.

Our speakers, Sarah Harrison, head of the Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) Technical Unit at the IFRC's Reference Centre for Psychosocial Support, and Eliza Cheung, head of the MHPSS Asia-Pacific collaboration, shared invaluable strategies for navigating burnout, promoting mental wellness, and fostering meaningful conversations.
